I was thinking that it would be nice if when you looked up a customer it would give different flags. Examples--Slow pay, has a credit, do not want to work for, loves to talk We do use the notes, but when we are busy it would be handy for it to show up front.

Feature Request: Admin-Controlled Work Order Unlock Current Behavior: Currently, anyone in a work order can unlock it by typing "yes." Issue: This allows users to unlock work orders without authorization, which can lead to accidental or unauthorized changes and reduces accountability. Proposed Solution: Allow administrators to enable password-protected work order unlocking. The password could be set by management, or access could be controlled through user permissions so that only designated staff members can unlock work orders. Benefits: * Improves security and control over work order modifications * Prevents unauthorized changes to completed or locked work orders * Increases accountability by limiting access to authorized personnel * Reduces the risk of accidental edits * Supports better workflow management and internal controls Optional Enhancement: Record the username, date, and time whenever a work order is unlocked for audit and accountability purposes.

When a technician is not assigned to a work order, the work order does not always appear in the Work in Progress list. This creates a risk that unassigned work orders will be overlooked or lost. It would be beneficial for all open work orders, including those without an assigned technician, to remain visible in Work in Progress until they are completed or otherwise closed.

When a work order is completed and has been paid or posted, it changes to a very light grey color. The current shade makes it difficult to quickly distinguish closed work orders from open ones. Using a darker or more prominent color would improve visibility and make it easier for users to identify completed, paid, or posted work orders at a glance. This would enhance usability and reduce the time required to locate and review completed transactions.

When a part is deleted from a WO and sent to the Returns Good Bin. When that part is pulled back from RGB to put on any WO... The source info is lost. Say, if I need to check that part for warranty, and I'd look to confirm the part's source information to see which supplier I purchased the part from, what date & their invoice#. It's not there, it says Returned item. and that is all. I just tested it. While the WO is open, I can click the part# under the source tab and the purchase info will open, but after the WO is posted, the details are no longer attached.

A "view only" option would be very helpful when a work order is locked to review what's on the RO/check part numbers etc. without having to break in or ask someone to get out of the work order

In the "Labor hour" tab of a work order, we can see a summary of the service packages, followed by the technician's totals at the bottom. When we have two (or more) technicians who have performed part of the work, it would be helpful to identify them in the service package summary lines; this way, at a glance, we can see who has performed what. This is specifically helpful when reviewing or adjusting time clock entries.

At present, when a message is sent to the Service Advisor, a pop-up box appears on the Service Advisor’s screen. In many cases, this pop-up is in the way and is closed or dismissed. Once that happens, there is no clear indication within the work order that an unread message still exists. My request is to have the Message icon in the top ribbon inside the work order provide a persistent visual notification when there is an unread message. For example, the icon could change colour, display a caution symbol, or show another clear unread-message indicator. This notification should remain visible until the Service Advisor clicks on the Message icon and views the message. This would help ensure that messages sent to the Service Advisor are not missed when completing or closing out a work order.

Would like the ability to have warrantied labor/material lines when deferred, the warranty info carries over to when the deferred work is pulled into the next WO. Currently it does not carry the warranty info and you have to re-enter the warranty info again.
