Warranty Item Cores Do Not Follow Warranty Items
under review

When performing a warranty replacement on a part with a core value, the warranty item goes to the "Pending Claims" list, while the core goes to the "Returned Item" list. Need to either have warranty items able to be added to Returned Item Credit Slips, or have the core values follow the defective part on to the Pending Claims section.

Any update on this? We are losing money from parts getting returned as cores instead of warranty because they are in 2 separate places

I totally agree that the warranty part and its core should stay together; it should also be able to receive the core credit as stand-alone since the parts vendor will credit the core immediately but the warranty part may have to wait for manufacturer's inspection.

Warranty and Returns Bin should BOTH be accessible to select items to create vendor credits on same Returned Item Credit Slip. Our vendors process them ALL together. We end up having to post return slip "123456 (1 of 2)" from Returned Items Bin and "123456 (2 of 2)" from Warranty. Doesn't import cleanly into QuickBooks.

I would prefer warranty and returns all to go to the same place. It is way too complicated to look for parts in two places. Even the labor claims can be put in with the parts.

Hey Tim, we have a request for this already so I will add your name to the list.

Darren Williams: Ah, I must have missed that. Thank you!

Darren Williams: We're getting close to a year of this being "Under Review", what's the update? As others have said, we're losing dollars because of this.
