Transfer from Estimate to Work Order

The ability to create an estimate under the open work order for a customer, and then transfer any approved items onto the work order. All done from within the open work order, where the tabs are for deferred work etc at the bottom of the work order, add a tab for Estimate.

We use the deferred work as the estimate section. if they approve anything, we pull it to the work order and then keep everything else in the deferred work. To me, they streamlined it by having one less tab.

I don't understand your request. Would this method work for you? You can start with an Estimate and then covert it to a work order. Next, you can defer work that is not selected. Until you close the WO, your deferred work is your estimate screen, or after you close it, you can then create an estimate from your deferred work.

I miss this functionality from the standalone Mitchell1. Would be best if multiple estimate tabs could be built for different options to present to the customer.
