Torque Spec

We fill that Info into the unit field, along with info unique to the vehicle, locking key for the lug nuts etc. it would be great if there was an option to display some vehicle specific info on the printed hard copy, wheel torque and pressure, maybe oil drain plug torque.

Scott Russell We use the vehicle notes section to house all of that information and have a separate preset job with the title VEHICLE INFORMATION. Just copy and paste when making the Work Order.

STE Automotive Centre Ltd. Thanks for your reply, yes that would also work, looking for a passive solution that does require someone to manually transfer information. Unit id allows the information to be present on screen, as well the printed hard copy. Thanks for the input.

Protractor may be able to have your tire rotations, for example have that spec come up in the service package. We have tire pressure come up on our oil changes so we just double click the tire pressure and it opens the catalog so the tire pressure will go on with our oil change services. Then it prints on the work order for the tech. Hope that makes sense.

That is very helpful, thank you.

If you click on the blue vehicle icon and open the flyout there are fluid capacities, vehicle specs, and tire specs including torque. Is this the kind of information you're referring to?

Darren Williams - The only ask I would have here is that the torque spec was accessible on the vehicle file or on the invoice for when we do re-torques. We were all excited about it being available in the work order vehicle specs, then disappointed on our first re-torque customer at the counter and couldn't pull it up so had to go back to the wall posted. The copy paste thing is an okay work around. But it would be good to be tied to the vehicle for retorques. Thanks
