The spell checker is not very intuitive at all.
We need to have integration with Grammarly or the language tool..
Adding stuff to the dictionary that's already typically incorrect with a bunch of hyphens that we do not use .... This really doesn't fix a whole lot.
Just like using parts tech as I recommended as a distributor to Dave Rosario... Let someone else do the heavy lifting on stuff like this...
Grammarly does speech and spell checking. Let them do it..
Let parts tech do your parts. Lookups then you can spend your time with your staff developing other much more necessary needs.

Protractor: "hey you spelled that wrong."
Customer: right click to fix, no option given to fix it... ???

I am a tech turned owner. I have the spelling of a 3 year old. Spell check and add to dictionary would be a huge help. Thanks

Darren Williams Thank you. I can now sound professional to my customers LOL But for real, HUGE improvement, I love it!

adding words would be helpful, accessing the spelling from the right click of the mouse would also be nice.

In addition to being able to add as the original post states, could the spell check program itself be improved to offer better replacements that are actually helpful? Many times it recommends replacement words that don't make any sense and the real word that was misspelled isn't even in the replacement list.

Nelson Beverly: I have no clue what the solution would be so I can't answer that at this time. The team has to see if there are upgrades to the spell check module we implemented and if not they will have to evaluate replacements.
I know in general it's hard to find any spell check that knows industry specific terms that aren't necessarily considered proper English.
