Show the workorder and PO number associated with a returned part

Currently when parts are returned from a workorder to the returns bin the information of where they came from is completely disassociated from them. Making it hard to manage returns effectively. Having the PO protractor generated for the purchase and associated workorder would make handling returns so much easier .

When you highlight a part in the Items To Be Returned Bin, it currently only shows the supplier invoice number, would it be possible to also include the Work Order Number the part was originally posted to? This would make it much easier to have the Advisor ask the Tech that worked on the vehicle directly vs looking in the shop for parts not on the Return Shelf in the shop waiting for pick up.

How about actually showing the invoice numbers in one of the columns? More clicks are wasted time.

Totally agree. I only desired the WO #, but having the received PO # traceability is great as well. Returned items are either on a credit slip and done for, or we need to dig in to know why we've not received credit. Digging in now, requires Human memory to remember what happened. I'd recommend extending this request to add a text memo that we can use for notes while sorting out issues.

This one we have had planned for a while but similar to moving returns to a work order, it's a larger development effort and will take time to review and implement.
