Scheduler - Technician Mode

We like to use the technician mode on the scheduler. However, it's annoying that every morning when loading protractor we have to select technician mode, and then also select which technicians we wish to view. Could a feature be added to save the scheduler we've customized to our liking as a default?
Also, while using technician mode... it would be super handy if when a technician has a day off, there was a check box next to their name to click that would highlight their whole day as off. This would make it simple to see, so that no appointments get accidently made under their name. Thanks.

An option to force Technician view mode for the Scheduler would be nice, it would force all service advisors to schedule apppointments and view the schedule in the same way. Technician view schedule is way more accurate and efficient way of scheduling appointments. More control needs to be given to management to make sure everything is done in the same way. I would suggest making it a feature in setup that can be turned on or off by management or admin.
Also, would be nice to have the option of not allowing appointments to sit in the unasssigned column, or the option to remove the unassigned column alltogether. This would force service advisors to select a technician or bay that the apoointment is being made for and reduce the amount of "mystery appointment" that are being made and have no bay or technician available to work on them.

the scheduler needs LOTS of help.. the tech mode is also not great as you have to manually select the tech in the appt screen (or a work order).. when booking you often don't know the tech, we would rather have the columns be set as BAYS or just allow you to double click a spot and it just automatically assign that tech.. the scheduler is too cumbersome.. I miss the ones i used at the other shops I've worked at, where the schedulers were much more useful!!
