The current sales tax report is clumsy to use in spreadsheet form, never equals actual sales tax to report, and does not include all sales tax collected for items chargeable for sales tax that are in the "manually setup" taxable material items such as shop supplies. The total sales tax collected from the invoice never matches what is reported/calculated in Protractor. The actual tax to report is always a small amount short when manually calculated at the end of the month. The line items are incrementally present in the report(s), but never tally up in any report to actual correct totals in any report. If it is labeled as "taxable" a non-existing report option for a detailed sales tax report with totals needs to be generated for those items specifically. We are unable to use Protractor for Monthly Sales Tax reporting for this reason. As a result, the accounting portion for sales tax in Protractor never balances which cause the accounting reports to inaccurate.
