Notes - Customer Flags - "POP-UP" notes

I would like to be able to add notes to a customer and vehicle files that Pops up whenever one of these is accessed. For instance, I just got off the phone with a client who was just here. He said from now on, he only wants us to use GM parts. I want to be able to add that note now, so when he's here three months from now, that note will "POP-UP" when the advisor accesses their info. I know there are note sections for customers and vehicles but those notes get missed all the time.

This! Please give it the ability to be customer or vehicle specific. A guy with a fleet truck just called and wants us to look into the right rear door not locking with the rest, next time the truck comes for an oil change (due in 2k miles). I just added a brief note as part of the license plate number so the advisor for sure sees it, but a popup note would be a much smoother way to handle things like this.

I completely agree. In the meantime as a work around I put a # after the customer name to tell me that I have a note for that customer that I need to look at. It is not a perfect solution but it works for now. This feature has been requested many many times and they do not seem to want to make it a priortity even though many of us would like this feature. There should be pop up notes for the customer and the vehicle when selected so if you have a note like "dont lock the car" or Dont move the seat" those notes should come up for the vehicle.
