David, what about using Tags on the vehicle so the labor matrix can pick it up? It needs to be vehicle specific. I have not been able to make it work on my end

That would be an awesome enhancement. Could it also apply for Diesel work?

Mac McManus I was thinking that too! Maybe it could pick up the fuel type based on the vin and automatically apply a diesel rate.

explanation aaded from Facebook- the catalog labor matrix only applies to labor sourced from the catalog, not pre-made service packages with set labor. In regard to changing the pricing profile manually, my feature request is to have the program do this automatically so you don't have to assign the pricing profile to the vehicle manually. Just the way the catalog labor factor automatically increases the labor hours for different makes and models. I have 4 locations and 10 advisors so automation equates to less errors. It's not very efficient to say, "ok, for every Tesla, go into the contact card and change the pricing profile to Tesla Labor." Then the same thing for Mercedes, Porsche or any other vehicle you want to have a different rate for. It's a lot more clicks, a lot more time wasted, and a lot more chances for errors.

Just a note after discussing with other users. The catalog labor matrix is not a solution to this problem because it only applies to labor sourced from the catalog. By having a labor rate apply to a vehicle make automatically, it would apply to all labor lines not just lines sourced from the catalog.
