This, or similar, has been requested before as well. It would indeed save time when adding similar parts. Perhaps these request need to be combined to see the true request?

Yes this would be an awesome feature, to duplicate any part in inventory list and adjust as needed to match the part being added to inventory system.

This would be a great feature. We have a separate inventory item for each brand for the same part and a "duplicate" feature would be a great time saver.

Absolutely would be great. Many of our parts have multiple shared fields that are identical. Would save much time when adding parts.
