Create Holdover Directly from the work order

In a different software I have used in the past each job would split into 1/2 hour blocks that were placed on the schedule wherever you wanted, so an 8 hour job would be split into 16 block that you could put 4 blocks today at 8:00 AM to block off 2 hours then 8 blocks tomorrow at 11:00 AM to block off 4 hours and so on. If job 1 was 2 hours it would have 4 half hour blocks that you could disperse on the schedule wherever you wanted. Also when jobs on the work order were completed the blocks for that job would come off of the schedule so you only saw the work that still needed to be completed on the schedule and each block had a 1,2,3 and so on for which job on the work order that they represented to make it easier to identify what was being done when and what still needed to be done. So there was no need for hold overs as you could move the "blocks" to wherever you wanted on the schedule. Made it a lot easier to just drag and drop instead of having to make holdovers.

Holdovers seem to be a cumbersome activity, would be nice to have it work a little simpler
