Contact Merge

and being able to copy from one location to the other more easily

The issue seems to be that Protractor has data points for Phone 1, Phone 2, Phone 3, etc. But Phone 1 on one contact could be the same number as Phone 2 on another contact. You're choosing which phone # to keep in each slot.
I ran into a related issue this past week where I was handicapped bc Protractor doesn't just treat every phone number as "Phone" instead of Phone 1, Phone 2, Phone 3, etc. Here's what I mean:
I was trying to identify duplicate contacts in Enterprise (for non-MSOs, that's the Protractor database where we can view data and run reports for all 3 locations at the same time).
If I could ID duplicates, I could merge them and get more accurate retention reports measuring across all locations rather than just within 1 location.
So I ran a report that included phone numbers. I figured if I look for duplicates by "File As" or address, I'll run into problems due to input errors with spelling, etc. But if I run the 10-digit phone number, I should be able to find the duplicates, right? Mostly right. If one contact has the phone number in Phone 1 and another has that same phone number but as Phone 2, Protractor doesn't see the match. An unfortunate limitation I'd love to see remedied!
